Teaching Philosophy
A snapshot of my teaching:
- I want my students to be empowered by their ability to write
- I want students to see that I love teaching and learning
- I create space for students to:
- Respond to real situations
- Impact real audiences in their communities
- I work to give students agency and de-center my authority
- I strive to foster an inclusive and engaged environment, drawing on principles of universal design and critical pedagogy
